Judith Green joined the Centre in March 2020 as Professor of Sociology, after posts at King’s College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. With a background in anthropology and medical sociology, her research has bridged public health and the social sciences, most recently focusing on issues of mobility, environments systems and health; questions of how evidence travels; and methodology. She is a Trustee of the Foundation for the Sociology of Health & Illness, co-editor of the journal Critical Public Health (hosted by the Centre), and co-author of the text book Qualitative Methods for Health Research.
