Rebecca is the Centre Director and oversees the strategic research and academic direction of the centre. She is also the Leventis Professor of Ancient Greek Scientific and Technological Thought in the faculty.

Centre Deputy Director
Alex is the Centre’s Deputy Director; her research focuses on the care of older people in emergency and acute care, and, more recently, with the social and ethical aspects of dementia diagnosis and what it means to live well with dementia. She is a co-investigator on the IDEAL study.
Centre Co-Director: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Luna oversees the centre’s EDI and research culture activity, and is PI on the Shame and Medicine project.
Centre Co-Director: Teaching and Learning
Felicity oversees the centre’s teaching and learning activity and is programme lead for the Masters’ programme. She is also PI on the DESTRESS 2 project.
Centre Co-Director: Engaged Research
Michael oversees the centre’s engaged research activity. Alongside this, he also supervises some of our students at postgraduate level, and teaches on the faculty’s undergraduate programmes.
